<a href="http://www.guidetohypermiling.com">What Is Hypermiling?</a>

Namom,

You should be able to have one. You're going to need to find a place where you can get a good light source, probably near a window. I would look for a general purpose book or website that discusses various ways and ideas to do indoor gardening.
I've tried growing herbs myself, but don't have too much luck indoors. I have an outdoor garden and grow all kinds of veggies and herbs.
I would suggest that you learn about general types of herbs and growing habits of each. Some herbs are annuals (grow and then die after one season), some are bi-annuals good for two seasons, and some are perennials (continue growing many seasons).
Also, decide what types of herbs you will actually use as opposed to trying to grow all different types.
I have a book titled The complete book of Herbs by Emma Callery. I think this book would get you started as a beginner. Just remember that learning to indoor garden is an experience and as you learn, don't forget to enjoy the trip!

good luck
