Solar Energy and Power

Ironic how a primitivist is accusing me of being a caveman. I suggest that those hypocrites who denounce technology, production, and progress as evil on a computer spend the rest of their days in some primitive egalitarian african commune. Or perhaps you should save yourself the trouble and ask a chinese Mao survivor what it's truly like to live in an undeveloped society. Industrialization always makes the lives of people better. Simple as that.

Being "anti-light-pollution" has profound and radical implications. Think about it for two seconds.

You are missing the point completely. I don't think this ant ( who is just a symbol of a creature who has continued living in the same way for centuries ) is trying to tell you your life isn't right, It's just a reminder of how much the place of human beings has been changed. Look around you and maybe you'll get the point.

Hypermiling Manual

I don't think starving people in impoverished countries without electricity or running water look up. They are probably as indifferent or more so to the night sky than we are. Electricity isn't the problem. Most humans will always be concerned with their own matters, whether its survival or gluttony. However, I think I understand the video's message. Humans are too powerful.

Green Living Guide

i'm sorry that i didn't elaborate enough in my first comment, i was simply pointing out the ludicrous comment of billions visible, a number the human mind cant truly comprehend. plus in a lot of places on earth u cant see more than few dozen due to light pollution, so between those places and the ones where u can see many thousands, most people only see a few hundred to about a thousand at a time.

Gas Savers

blame crime. Without night-time lighting crime skyrockets. The entire reason street lamps were invented, paid for and installed was to lower crime.

Planet Friendly Products

True, although I don't see a way to change that currently. Population is growing, cities are growing even more. Hopefully this form of industrial societies aren't the end of the development and one day we care about such things again.
I live in a village and when I was a child, in clear winter nights I took my telescope and spend one or two hours outside to watch the stars. That was really cool.
I should take a look in the sky tonight and see, if it's clear enough to see the milky way.

Electric Car Kits

There will always be haters, people who look down on the beauty seen by people with a bright perception. But those who can see the night sky and be amazed at it percieve something well worth percieving. I have been to the country in a number of areas in my country and others, and seen the beauty and majesty of the night sky. It is well worth a look.
